Dear Friends of Love to Travel Products,
For many reasons, obvious and not-so-obvious, travel is one of the more important things we do with our loved ones. It is a time when we are away from our normal routines and activities, temporarily unburdened by the duties and distractions of everyday life, and hopefully relaxed enough to simply enjoy our relationships and the adventures that come our way. Whether we’re traveling to visit Grandma and Grandpa, soaking in the sun on a sandy beach, or off to explore unknown lands and cultures, one of the most important things about travel is that we are sharing new and delightful experiences that stretch our awareness and expand our world views. It often takes us out of our comfort zones and gives us an opportunity to gain new insights into ourselves and each other as we go along.
There’s a wealth of human travel experience out there just waiting to be shared, which is why I have started this “Great Trips and Tips” Travel Blog. The intention of this blog is to share travel ideas, stories, experiences, reflections, information and tips with other fellow TraveLovers. As this blog is read, it will encourage others out in cyberspace to share their own stories as well.
So, I’m reaching out to all of you to ask for a little of your time to submit one of your own ideas or stories with us. It can be a story about an experience or adventure, a thoughtful reflection about a trip you took, information about a travel product that you found especially useful, trip ideas or tips, or just about anything that’s travel-related. Whatever you choose to share, you can be sure there will be someone out there who reads your story and truly appreciates and relates to the information or sentiment. From the trivial to the humorous, the profound to the relational, we all have something to share that will serve to unite us in our common human experience. I will be creating categories as I receive submissions, so don’t worry if there’s not yet a category that fits your post.
I invite you to be an active participant in this blog. Although I reserve the right to read and approve your post before it goes up, this is only done to keep the blog family-friendly. Please send in your blog submissions as an attachment in an email to customerservice@lovetotravelproducts.com. You are welcome to include 1 or 2 photos with your post, if you’d like. I will identify you in whatever way you’re comfortable with, but my suggestion would be to use your first name and city, (Linda from Denver) or your family name and city (The Doans from Chicago). Thanks for your interest and I look forward to your submissions.
